For each agency, department and corporation within the Minister's portfolios, I ask: (a) What projects are Huawei currently involved in; (b) What are the nature/description of those projects; (c) What is the role of Huawei (e.g. lead proponent, sub-contractor, technical advisor to Government) in the contract; (d) What is the specific services provided by Huawei for each contract; (e) What is the total value of each contract; and (f) When was each contract commenced and when are they expected to be completed?

Huawei products and components are used by a range of companies in Australia including Optus, Vodafone and TPG. For example, Optus and Vodafone use Huawei equipment and technology as per of their 4G and 3G networks.
