(1) I refer to the social housing waitlist and I ask, for each month in 2025 to date, please identify: (a) The number of people on the social housing waitlist in Geraldton; (b) The number of people on the priority social housing waitlist in Geraldton; (c) The number of people on the social housing waitlist in the Mid West; and (d) The number of people on the priority social housing waitlist in the Mid West? (2) What is the total social housing stock in Geraldton? (3) Of those identified in (2), how many are currently vacant? (4) For each vacant social home in Geraldton please identify: (a) The length of time the home has been vacant; and (b) The reason for the vacancy? (5) What is the total social housing stock for the Mid West? (6) Of those identified in (5) how many are currently vacant? (7) For each vacant social home in the Mid West please identify: (a) The length of time the home has been vacant; and (b) The reason for the vacancy?

As at 31 January 2025, there were 840 applications on the Public Housing wait list for the Geraldton Preference Zone. This includes 243 priority applications.
As at 28 February 2025, there were 850 applications on the Public Housing wait list for the Geraldton Preference Zone. This includes 251 priority applications.
As at 31 March 2025, there were 841 applications on the Public Housing wait list for the Geraldton Preference Zone. This includes 272 priority applications.
As at 30 April 2025, there were 838 applications on the Public Housing wait list for the Geraldton Preference Zone. This includes 290 priority applications.
(c – d)
As at 31 January 2025, there were 1,099 applications on the Public Housing wait list for Midwest/Gascoyne Preference Region. This includes 315 priority applications.
As at 28 February 2025, there were 1,110 applications on the Public Housing wait list for Midwest/Gascoyne Preference Region. This includes 323 priority applications.
As at 31 March 2025, there were 1,102 applications on the Public Housing wait list for Midwest/Gascoyne Preference Region. This includes 344 priority applications.
As at 30 April 2025, there were 1,111 applications on the Public Housing wait list for Midwest/Gascoyne Preference Region. This includes 367 priority applications.

As at 30 April 2025, there were 1,076 public housing properties in the City of Greater Geraldton.

Vacant housing stock is categorised between ‘returning’ and ‘non-returning’.
Returning properties are planned to or may be undergoing maintenance or refurbishment, and when completed will be relet to an applicant on the wait list.
Not-returning properties represent dwellings that have been earmarked for a purpose other than reletting to an applicant on the wait list, such as where the property is being considered for demolition or redevelopment.
As at 30 April 2025, 151 were vacant with 123 returning and 28 non-returning.

As at 30 April 2025, there were 1,725 Public Housing properties in the Midwest/Gascoyne Region.
