I refer to my question of 8 September 2009, in relation to staffing of the then new Department of Training and Workforce Development and the Minister’s response that indicative details of full-time equivalents (FTEs) and their location, would be known once the implementation plan has been completed, and I ask -
(1) How many TAFE-based FTEs have been transferred to the new Department and will the Minister provide a breakdown by levels?
(2) How many non-TAFE-based FTEs have been transferred and will the Minister provide a breakdown by levels?
(3) Where are the transferred staff located?
(4) What has been the total cost of establishing the new Department of Training and Workforce Development?

(2) On 30 October 2009, 501.5 non-TAFE based FTEs were transferred to the new Department at the following levels:
Group 2 - 1
Class 3 - 1
Class 2 - 2

Level 9 - 4
Level 8 - 20
Level 7 - 38.2
Level 6 - 80.83
Level 5 - 86.1
Level 4 - 69.87
Level 3 - 64.3
Level 2 - 70.66

(3) Department staff are based at the following locations:

Apprenticentre Perth- 823 Wellington St, East Perth
Apprenticentre Pilbara - Karratha Village Shopping Ctr, Karratha
Apprenticentre Goldfields - 37 Brookman Street Kalgoorlie
Apprenticentre Wheatbelt - 110 Fitzgerald Street Northam
Apprenticentre Kimberley - 20 Dampier Terrace, Broome
