505. Hon Dr BRAD PETTITT to the Leader of the House representing the Minister
for Aboriginal Affairs:
I refer to the development activity
on Murujuga, the Burrup Peninsula, in relation to the Perdaman development and
Yara's project Yuri.
(1) How many section 18 permissions
are currently active for each site?
(2) Is the
department aware of any incidences, whether or not covered by section 18, of
damage or impact to Aboriginal heritage material at either site?
(3) Is the
department aware of work being suspended at either site due to damage or impact
to cultural material; and, if yes, how long was work suspended?
(4) If yes to either (2) or (3),
will the minister advise what occurred and on what date?
