(a) Perth metropolitan tertiary hospitals and secondary and regional hospitals with equipment and training for responding to Chemical, Biological, Radiological or Nuclear incidents.
These hospitals are:
Royal Perth Hospital
Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital
Fremantle Hospital
Princess Margaret Hospital
Peel Health Campus
Rockingham General Hospital
Joondalup Health Campus
Nichol Bay Hospital (Karratha)
Kalgoorlie Hospital
Southwest Health Campus (Bunbury)
Northam Hospital
(b) The Hospital Response Team Subplan, which is a Subplan of Westplan Health, outlines the procedures for deployment of triage and treatment teams in the event of a major event, including a nuclear incident. Personnel deployed are dependent on the extent of the incident, the number and severity of casualties and the distance from the nearest tertiary hospital.
