I refer to the planned closure of Brearley Avenue in Redcliffe.
(1) Did Main
Roads Western Australia consider retaining access to Brearley Avenue, Great Eastern Highway up to First Avenue?
(2) If no to (1), why not?
(3) If yes to (1), for what reason
was it decided not to pursue this option?

(1)–(2) Yes,
works are currently planned as part of the future upgrade of Great Eastern
Highway between Tonkin Highway and the Great Eastern Highway Bypass.
(3) The member
for Belmont is working with the Minister for Transport to ensure any concerns
raised by residents are brought to the attention of Main Roads.
