(1) Sporting and community based clubs, charities and other not for profit organisations including:
- Cricket, football and bowling clubs;
- P&C and other community associations;
- Charities;
- Racing clubs;
- Community based clubs such as Rotary and Lions; and
- RSL Clubs
(2) The increase in fees does not equate to an increase in problem gambling. The increase is largely attributable to the popularity of Texas Hold'Em poker competitions where contestants do not risk their own money. Statistics provided by the Problem Gambling Help Line and Gambling Help WA indicate that there has been no increase in presentations or referrals resulting from the increase in community based gaming functions.
