I refer to the March announcement by the Albanese Labor Government, that it would release 20% of the federal fuel reserve (The Mandatory Stockpile Obligation), and I ask:(a) How much of this diesel, in litres, did Western Australia receive; and(b) Which companies received this diesel, on what date and what volumes?

(a)-(b)
The Mandatory Stockpile Obligation guarantees a baseline level of domestic fuel stocks at a national level. The announced release of the stockpile was delivered by confidential agreement between the Commonwealth and obligated MSO parties, with a focus on local market pressures.
Based on confidential data provided by fuel companies under the Fuel, Energy and Power Resources Act 1972 data order, and feedback from peak bodies via the Fuel Industry Operations Group, the Government is satisfied that fuel has been provided into regional Western Australia as a result of these arrangements.
