The Western Australian Police Force advise:
The total approved strength of police officers in business units located at the Police Academy as at November each year for years 2015 to 2018 inclusive are 123, 128, 128 and 154, respectively. The total approved strength of police staff in business units located at the Police Academy as at November each year for the years 2015 to 2018 inclusive are 53, 56, 57 and 87. For the years 2015 to 2018 inclusive, the number of graduating recruits was 228, 289, 176 and 163. Police officer resignations/retirements in 2018 were lower than the previous years.
