FIRE AND EMERGENCY SERVICES — RECOVERY STAFF
465. Hon MARTIN ALDRIDGE to the Minister for Emergency
Services:
I refer to the minister's
media statement of 5 April 2023 announcing $38 million to employ 70 full-time
recovery staff at the Department of Fire and Emergency Services.
(1) Of the 29
permanent full-time positions that have been funded, how many will be located
in regional Western Australia?
(2) Noting that another 32 positions will be for a fixed
period of 12 to 24 months to assist with the Kimberley recovery, what
function will the remaining nine FTE positions be allocated to and where will
they be located?
(3) When is it
expected that recruitment for the 70 positions will be complete?
