The catchment area for a school is defined by its local intake area which for the following schools may include all or part of the listed suburbs.
(1)(a) South Fremantle Senior High School:
· Beaconsfield; East Fremantle; Hilton; North Fremantle; O'Connor; Samson; South Fremantle; White Gum Valley: and
· parts of Bicton; Fremantle; Hamilton Hill; Kardinya; and North Coogee.
(b) Hamilton Senior High School:
· Coogee; Coolbellup; Henderson; North Coogee; Samson; Spearwood; and
· parts of Beeliar, Bibra Lake, Hamilton Hill, Kardinya, Munster, Naval Base, Wattleup, and Yangebup.
(c) North Lake Senior Campus: this school does not have a gazetted local-intake area. Enrolments are prioritised based on proximity to the school.
(d) John Curtin College of the Arts:
· East Fremantle, North Fremantle; and
· parts of Bicton and Fremantle.
(2) The Department of Education has obtained data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics collected in both the 2006 Census and the 2011 Census for students attending public primary schools by suburb. The suburbs for which an increase in the number of public primary students occurred between the 2006 census and the 2011 census were Beaconsfield, Beeliar, Bicton, Fremantle, Hamilton Hill, Hilton, North Fremantle, O'Connor, South Fremantle, and White Gum Valley.
