Courses are conducted in the normal course of business. It is difficult to quickly ascertain an accurate costing pertinent to the courses themselves. The courses and seminars are in many instances conducted, facilitated and/or delivered by departmental staff as part of their normal duties. Therefore the costs attributable to each course or seminar are difficult to calculate. In terms of the costs incurred by the participants, once again it is difficult to accurately provide meaningful figures for these costs. The Department receives revenue from many sources and to extract these particular figures is extremely time consuming and costly.
