354. Mr Z.R.F. KIRKUP to the Premier:
I have a supplementary question.
Thank you for that response, Premier. I appreciate the budget commitments in
that respect. Can the Premier not consider there is a growing sense of urgency
for the government to provide a whole-of-government response to this issue and
to the people of Western Australia and that unacceptably high risks to the
children and young people in the Kimberley remain at this point in time.

We funded the programs I just
outlined to the house and, on top of that, we expect, as soon as we can, to
have an overarching response to the coroner's report.
