the minister representing the Minister for Transport:
I refer to the 10 per cent levy on
the turnover of taxis and all authorised on-demand transport that commenced on
1 April 2019.
(1) How much was
raised over the periods 1 April 2019 to 30 June 2019, 1 July 2019 to 30 June
2020, and 1 July 2020 to date?
(2) What is the
forecast revenue to be collected for each financial year of 2020–21,
2021–22 and 2022–23?
(3) In what year
does the government expect the target of $122 million to be reached?

I thank the Leader of the Opposition
for some notice of the question. The following answer has been provided to me
by the Minister for Transport.
(1) Between 1 April 2019 and 31 July
2020, $48 million was collected.
(2) An annual estimate of $29.5 million
is anticipated to be collected by booking services.
(3) It is anticipated that the levy
will be collected within the originally stated four-year time frame.
