WA Country Health Service The number of Children on waiting lists within CAMHS for WA Country Health Service are as follows: Wheatbelt: 16 Great Southern: 58 Goldfields: 3 Pilbara: 13 Kimberley: 2 South West: 27 Midwest: Nil. Note: WACHS Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services vary to some extent from region to region according to resource availability which is affected not only by public Mental Health service availability but also by the range of other government and non-government services and the partnership arrangements within regions. (3) North Metropolitan Area Health Service Waiting times for appointments from allocation are dependent on acuity. Mirrabooka Triage Team: 80% of referrals are allocated within (from referral to allocation) twenty days of referral. Clarkson CAMHS team: 2 to 12 weeks Hillarys CAMHS team: 0 to 4 weeks Shenton CAMHS team: 0 to 4 weeks Swan Kalamunda CAMHS team: 0 to 4 weeks Warwick Mirrabooka CAMHS team: 0 to 4 weeks YouthLink: 0 to 2 weeks South Metropolitan Area Health Service Waiting times for appointments from allocation are dependent on acuity.  Patients are assessed and allocated appropriately. General Waitlist wait times to therapy are as follows: Armadale CAMHS: 4- 12 weeks Bentley CAMHS: 4-20 weeks Fremantle CAMHS: 4-24 weeks Peel CAMHS: 4-12 weeks Rockingham CAMHS: 4-16 weeks WA Country Health Service The length of waiting times for each service varies from 4 weeks to 10 months. Waitlist management systems also vary from region to region. However, it is expected that all services retain some capacity to intervene when an urgent response is required. In many cases the client is managed by a case manager and consultation with a psychiatrist is offered as part of treatment. Therefore, it is not possible to identify in all regions a separate waitlist for psychiatry.
