The member for Pilbara is a very
diligent local member of Parliament. I was up in his electorate twice, I think,
in the last two weeks. I opened the new Karratha Health Campus with the member
for Pilbara, and the week before that we were announcing the release of the
dust report in Hedland and announcing more than $70 million of funding for a new
marina in Hedland. He is a guy who likes to get things done. He is not a show
pony. The last member for Pilbara was a show pony!
Mr D.A. Templeman : a one-trick
show pony.
Mr M. McGOWAN : Yes, a one-trick
show pony. I note that, like most of the National Party, he is not here either!
