(1) As the new Perth Stadium Transport Project Definition Plan, released in December 2012, states, the Burswood Peninsula will allow stowage for up to 117 railcars and up to 24 railcars between Great Eastern Highway and Victoria Park station. This work is included in the $100m project cost for all rail infrastructure associated with the new Perth Stadium, including Stadium station.
(2) The Burswood Peninsula will allow stowage for up to 117 railcars adjacent to Stadium station and up to 24 railcars between Great Eastern Highway and Victoria Park station prior to the conclusion of an event.
(3) The stowage areas will operate the same as other areas of the PTA network where a driver will stable the train. Purpose built staffing facilities will be located in each area enabling drivers to take toilet and meal breaks.
