(3) If no to (1) -
(a) was any assessment done to compare the cost of continuing the previous arrangement for maintenance with the new contract; and
(b) was a public private comparator developed to compare the alternative methods of providing maintenance services?
(4) If yes to (3)(a) and (b), will the Minister table a copy?
(5) If no to (4), why not?

(b) A Price Evaluation Model was compared to tender for A series rail cars with the current contract model of the B Series railcars evaluated in comparison with the tendered bids.
(4) No.
(5) The Minister considers release of the Price Evaluation Model inappropriate due to commercial and confidential information.
