I have a supplementary question. Am I to understand from the ministerXXX ###XXXs answer that the minister is not aware
that her department has issued an edict that as from the end of this year, if
someone is aged over 17 years, they cannot repeat year 12 in their current
school? Students have to go to one of only four metropolitan colleges, all
located within 18 minutesXXX ###XXX drive of the CBD.

There are two issues there—people wishing to repeat
year levels who are within the school age and those who are of adult age. I am
absolutely certain that students of adult age need a different sort of
education setting from those who are not. It is quite possible for a student to
repeat at their school when they are within age.
