(1) For each of the following secondary schools, how many teachers are teaching only one subject area in 2014 and in which subject area are they teaching: (a) Boyup Brook District High School; (b) Bridgetown District High School; (c) Donnybrook District High school; (d) Nannup District High School; (e) Northcliffe District High school; (f) Pemberton District High School; and (g) Waroona District High School? (2) For each of the secondary schools in (1), how many teachers are teaching in two subject areas and in which subject areas are they teaching? (3) For each of the secondary schools in (1), how many teachers are teaching in more than two subject areas and in which areas are they teaching? (4) Has every teacher at the district high schools in (1), teaching English, Health and Physical Education, Languages other than English (LOTE), Mathematics, Science, Society and Environment, Technology and Enterprise and the Arts completed the tertiary educational requirements specified by the Department for Education for middle school teachers (i.e. a three year bachelor degree relative discipline followed by a one year Graduate Diploma in Education (Middle Years))? (5) If no to (4), at which schools and in which subjects are students being taught by teachers whose training does not include these tertiary qualifications?

(1) - (3) Please refer to Tabled Paper.
(4) Every teacher employed by the Department of Education is required to be registered with the Teacher Registration Board and therefore meets the necessary tertiary qualification to teach in a secondary school.
There is no additional separate qualification required by secondary teachers as distinct from primary teachers. However, many teachers have a major and minor specialisation that may relate to a secondary subject area.
