I thank the Hon Barbara Scott for some notice of this question. The Minister for Police and Emergency Services has provided the following answer - WA Police advises that the Hilton Police Station will not be closed. Day-to-day police services to the public will continue at Hilton Police Station and an enhanced police presence throughout the Hilton subdistrict will be provided through coordinated mobile patrols from Palmyra Police Station. The superintendent of the south metropolitan district closely monitors crime trends and antisocial activity throughout the subdistricts and is able to place supplementary resources where they are required.
