I refer to the recent selection of Matilda Bay as the location for a new ferry terminal as part of the METRONET Swan Ferry Service Expansion, and seek further information concerning the assessment and impact of this decision across several areas of concern, and I ask: (a) Please provide the full Multi Criteria Evaluation performed for each assessed terminal location, covering: (i) Forecast usage (including specific forecasts for UWA, QEII, residents/commuters, and tourists); (ii) Business case; (iii) Environmental evaluation; (iv) Waterway and marine safety evaluation; (v) Heritage evaluation; (vi) Water and land user evaluation; (vii) Connectivity; (viii) Risk assessment; and (ix) Stakeholder evaluation; (b) Why was Central Matilda Bay assessed as having the least impact to current activities and enjoyment both on water and on land, when the JoJo location is known not to be an active area for family picnics or swimming, and water crafts cannot be launched from JoJo due to the sea wall restricting access; (c) How were passenger forecasts estimated (e.g., surveys, studies); (d) How were project costings determined, including benchmarks or comparisons with similar projects; and (e) What work is currently being undertaken in Matilda Bay relating to the ferry terminal? When was this work commissioned, and was this prior to the completion of the stakeholder consultation process?
