I refer to Budget Paper No. 2, Volume 2 at page 432, "Spending changes", line item Mental Health Court Diversion and Support Program Pilot, and ask: (a) how many people experiencing mental illness does the Attorney General expect will benefit from the pilot program; (b) what key performance indicators have been established to measure the success or otherwise of the program; and (c) when will the program operate in the South West electoral region?

(a) As a guide, up to the end of June 2014, 421 individuals had appeared within the Adult Mental Health Court Diversion and Support Program and there have been 237 referral instances to the service available within the Perth Children's Court since the programs commenced in March and April 2013 respectively.
(b) An Evaluation Working Group has developed an outcomes measurement framework to measure the success or otherwise of both programs.
(c) There are no current plans to operate the program in the South West electoral region.
