DEPARTMENT
OF HOUSING — GOLDMASTER ENTERPRISES PTY LTD
217. Mr F.M. LOGAN to the
Premier:
I have a supplementary question. I understand that, but would
the Premier agree that such a substantial investment of taxpayersXXX ###XXX
money should have been referred to cabinet?

The housing portfolio enters into all sorts of agreements on
housing developments, in both metropolitan and country areas. Most of those
would not come to cabinet. If there are specific issues that find their way to
cabinet, usually there is a reporting mechanism.
Mr F.M. Logan interjected.
Mr C.J. BARNETT : I
simply cannot answer; I do not have knowledge of that, but if the member wants
to put it on notice, I will provide an answer.
