The Department for Planning and Infrastructure administers the Country Pathways funding. Project construction is administered by the Local Government Authority. Other projects are directly funded and administered by Main Roads WA. d). Projects in Broome, Halls Creek, Tom Price, Port Hedland, Roebourne Carnarvon and Exmouth and the Shire of Derby-West Kimberley, have been funded in 2002/2003. Commencement of construction is dependent on Local Government arrangements. Projects in Fitzroy Crossing, Halls Creek, South Hedland, Karratha, Kununurra, Carnarvon, Exmouth were constructed in 2001/02.
