(1)-(2) Greenhouse gas emissions from industrial facilities are recorded by the Commonwealth Government through the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting Scheme where corporations that control the operation of these facilities meet or exceed certain thresholds for a financial year. Further information regarding this matter is available through the Commonwealth Government's Clean Energy Regulator. The disclosure of information relating to individual facilities is restricted under the secrecy and disclosure of information provisions of the
Clean Energy Regulator Act 2011
and the
National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting Act 2007
