1086. Hon COLIN de GRUSSA to the parliamentary secretary representing the
Minister for Environment:
I refer to the public submission
phase for the proposed south coast marine park.
(1) Will
submissions received from local community members and organisations, businesses
and local government authorities directly impacted by the establishment of the
marine park be weighted the same as those received from other parties?
(2) If yes to (1), why?
(3) Will submissions be accepted
from persons or entities outside Western Australia?

following answer.
(1) All submissions are given due
consideration to the satisfaction of the Minister for Environment.
(2) It is a requirement of the
Conservation and Land Management Act 1984.
(3) Yes.
