ELECTORAL DATABASE SYSTEMS
(1) (a) In view of the fact that the Electrac enrolment management information system provided to all Australian Labor Party members of Parliament costs the government $77 000 a year more than the electorate management system provided to non-ALP members, will the government levy all ALP members $1 604 a year for the duration of the current EMIS contract to ensure that all members of Parliament are treated equally with the provision of a publicly funded electorate management system; and (b) if not, why not? (2) (a) As the cost of providing the EMIS to ALP members of Parliament has, since 2001, cost the government $296 000 more than the system provided to non-ALP members, will the Premier require all ALP members to reimburse Treasury $6 169.46 so that all members of Parliament will have been treated equally with the provision of a publicly funded electorate management system since 2001; and (b) if not, why not?
