(1) With reference to question without notice No. 206 of 15 June, 2017, Hon Stephen Dawson MLC stated that the
Biodiversity Audit II
"has been publicly available since September 2015 through the Conservation Science Library”. The audit is not available in the Conservation Science Library catalogue, neither as a physical nor digital copy, and I ask:
(a) why is the
Biodiversity Audit II
unavailable in the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions Conservation Science Library catalogue;
(b) will the Department of Parks and Wildlife publish an easily accessible version of
Biodiversity Audit II
; and
(c) if no to (b), why not?
(2) In an article for
WA Today
published on 24 May 2017, it was stated that the Hon Stephen Dawson MLC "has now asked for a briefing on its (
Biodiversity Audit II
's) findings". It was proposed in the same article that the
Biodiversity Audit II
has not been completed, and I ask:
(a) has
Biodiversity Audit II
been completed;
(b) if no to (a), why not;
(c) was the Minister briefed on
Biodiversity Audit II
;
(d) if no to (c), why not;
(e) if yes to (c), will the Minister make the findings publicly available; and
(f) if no to (e), why not?
