I direct a supplementary question to the Minister for Justice and Legal Affairs on the question he answered for me earlier today in which he stated that 25 women prisoners were transferred from Bandyup Women’s Prison to Greenough Regional Prison. (1) How many of those women were Aboriginal? (2) How many of them were minimum security prisoners? (3) How many of them were maximum security prisoners? (4) Can he detail what plans the Government has for its promised provision of a minimum security prison for women in Western Australia? Hon N.D. GRIFFITHS

I thank the member for the question. She was elected to this House on the same day that I was and was in government for eight years. Perhaps she has not paid much attention to question time, because I am not the Minister for Justice and Legal Affairs; I represent him in this House. The member is well aware of the process that should be followed; namely, she should give some notice of the question, and then she will get an answer. When she gives some notice of the question, I hope that she will then get up and ask it before two months has expired. Several members interjected. The PRESIDENT: Order, members!
