(1) How many officers are currently
employed within the community engagement division?
(2) How many
officers were employed within the community engagement division on 1 January
2022; and, if more than are currently employed, why?

representing the Minister for Police, I thank the honourable member for some
notice of the question. The following information has been provided by the
Minister for Police.
The Western Australia Police Force
advises the following.
(1) There are 18 as at 28 February
2023.
(2) There were 22
as at 31 December 2021. The variance between 2021 and 2023 is attributable to
officer transfers and/or vacancies.
