(2) Polytechnic West is the only State Training Provider to have offered any of the courses listed in (1) since 2012.
Prior to 2012, Great Southern Institute of Technology had two commencements in 2010 and one commencement in 2012 in the Machine Woodworking and Wood Machinist Apprenticeships.
(3) Where the off the job training component of an apprenticeship is no longer offered in Western Australia, the Department of Training and Workforce Development meets the cost of the airfares and contributes $110 per night towards the cost of accommodation. Course fees are the responsibility of the apprentice, or in some cases, their employer, depending on which industrial award they are employed under.
