(1) How much funding is provided by the Department of Community Services to organisations to provide financial counselling services?
(2) Please provide the name of the service provider and the funding provided for the financial years -
(a) 2009-10;
(b) 2010-11; and
(c) 2011-12.
(3) Over what duration is funding provided under the funding contracts for these services?
(4) Does the Minister have any plans to boost the provision of financial counselling services to people in need through funding the creation of a financial services hub which would provide central access to a range of services; for example, the Consumer Credit Legal Service and the Financial Counsellors Association of Western Australia?
(5) If no to (4), why not?
