The project which will be delivered in conjunction with the Department of Housing and Works is expected to go to tender mid-year, and be completed by mid-2004. Additionally, an amount of $500 000 will be allocated in 2004-2005 under the Secondary Schools Refurbishment Program to undertake upgrade work at Hedland Senior High School. An architect will be commissioned for the project in February next year to enable the consultation and preliminary planning to be commenced with the school community.

(a) - (d) The planning and documentation of a proposed sports hall and performing arts facility at Tom Price Senior High School is proceeding at present. The facility, which is being jointly funded by the Department of Education and Training, the Department of Sport and Recreation and the Shire of Ashburton is expected to cost about $4.1m.
The project which will be delivered in conjunction with the Department of Housing and Works is expected to go to tender mid-year, and be completed by mid-2004.
Additionally, an amount of $500 000 will be allocated in 2004-2005 under the Secondary Schools Refurbishment Program to undertake upgrade work at Hedland Senior High School. The project will be delivered in conjunction with the Department of Housing and Works.
