METRONET PROJECTS
76. Hon TJORN SIBMA to the Leader of the House representing
the Minister for Transport:
(1) For each of
the following Metronet projects, what is the value of the operating expenses in
the 2024–25 and 2025–26 forward estimates —
(a) the Yanchep rail extension;
(b) the Thornlie–Cockburn
Link;
(c) the Morley–Ellenbrook
extension;
(d) the Inner Armadale level crossing
removal project; and
(e) the Byford extension.
(2) Are these the full expected
operating expenses for each of the new lines?

(1)–(2) The estimated value
of operating expenses is as follows —
(a) It is $19 million in the first
full year of operation.
(b) It is $22 million in the first
full year of operation.
(c)–(e) This will be
confirmed through the budget process.
