(a) As at 5 February 2009 there were no apprentices employed in the Department of Corrective Services.
(b) As at 5 February 2009 there were 10 trainees employed in Department of Corrective Services as follows.
· 8 Aboriginal Trainees
· 2 School Based Trainees
· 109 Trainee Prison Officers
(c) Yes
(d) The Department has plans to increase the number of Aboriginal Trainees by 4 to recruit replacement trainees to maintain an allocation of 12 aboriginal trainees per year.
(e) Nil.
(i) This will be done within existing funding.
