As
the member would expect, the predominant activity that we will be looking at in
the pilot program will be in the metropolitan area. That is where we
have the biggest issues with emergency departments and population centres. It
is fairly straightforward and commonsense for the main activity with urgent
care clinics to be in the metropolitan area, particularly during the pilot
phase. As the member observed, we have a policy to also make sure that patients
in our regions are put first as well. We will make sure that regional patients
are part of our urgent care policy.
