1230. Hon ALISON XAMON to the minister representing the
Minister for Planning:
I refer to the metropolitan region
improvement fund.
(1) How much money is currently in
the fund?
(2) How much money in the fund is
currently unallocated?
(3) To date, how much money has
been spent on the acquisition of Bush Forever sites?

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question. The following answer has been provided to me by
the Minister for Planning.
(1) As per page 725 of the 2020–21
budget paper No 2, volume 2, it is $434.712 million.
(2) As per page 725 of the 2020–21
budget paper No 2, volume 2, it is $376.634 million.
(3) The Western Australian Planning Commission has
spent more than $100 million through the Bush Forever policy. If the
honourable member wishes to ask about a particular site, the minister can
provide further information.
