This initiative is currently being developed by the Peel Development Commission in conjunction with the Peel Leadership Group that comprises of the Mayor of Mandurah, Presidents of Murray, Waroona, Boddington and Serpentine–Jarrahdale Shire Council and their respective CEO’s.
Presently the group is compiling a list of prominent people who are connected to the Peel region that may be interested in promoting the region. Those identified will be contacted and if interested, an ambassador role information kit will be provided on the Region and the various projects in which the Commission is involved.
There is no fixed limit on the number ambassadors appointed. A point of contact or reference will be established in the Commission for referral of enquiries by ambassadors to the Region.
