On behalf of the Minister for Road Safety, I thank the
honourable member for some notice of the question.
(1)–(2)
Road safety is a shared responsibility involving a number of state government
agencies, stakeholder groups and local governments. The road trauma trust
account is a major source of funding for road safety projects in Western
Australia, with record funding of over $1 million approved for the 2014–15
financial year.
