The Western Australian Police Force should be contacted in all instances where there are concerns that an offence has been committed under the Mental Health Act 2014 .
The Western Australian Police Force would undertake any investigations and prosecutions in accordance with the Criminal Procedure Act 2004 . The determination on whether an offence has occurred and the penalty to be imposed must be made by a Court of Law.
