I refer to the Labor "Plan for Peel" and ask: (a) Does the Government still intend to make it easier for aged care providers in the Peel
Region to develop new facilities by identifying
suitable land and removing existing planning and
local government impediments: (i) If yes, what steps have been taken by the Government to identify suitable land and has any land been identified: (A) If yes, will the Minister provide details (title or details) of the land which has been identified; and (ii) If yes, what steps have been taken by the by the Government to remove existing planning and local government impediments; and (b) If no, why not?

The McGowan Labor Government made a strong commitment to the Peel region during the election campaign and released the comprehensive Plan for Peel. The Government looks forward to progressing and delivering its commitments and is currently working through the budget process to do so.
