I have a supplementary question. Will the Premier answer the second part of the question, which related to non-food crops, and did not directly relate to people consuming GM crops? Mr A.J. CARPENTER

I am prepared to have a discussion with the member about the issues he is raising. I do not know what particular crops he is talking about. The government has an established GM-free position in Western Australia, and as I understand it, that position delivers great advantage to the state. I do not think this is a particularly party political issue. If any change were to come about in the policy setting, we would have to think very carefully about where we go and what we do before we make any such change.
