(1) Do Main Roads have standard benchmark costs that they use for initial estimates for infrastructure costs? (2) What is the benchmark costs of a Single Point Urban Interchange (SPUI) bridge? (3) What is the benchmark cost of a Standard Interchange bridge? (4) What is the benchmark cost of an Oval Roundabout Interchange bridge? (5) What is the benchmark cost for the following type of grade separations: (a) road/road; (b) road/rail; and (c) road/road/rail? (6) How much additional concrete and steel is required to build a SPUI compared to a Standard Interchange bridge?

(1)-(5)(c) Main Roads does not have standard benchmark costs for each of the interchange types mentioned. Major infrastructure projects are costed on a case by case basis.
(6) The SPUI bridge deck is generally wider than a standard diamond interchange bridge and the increase in bridge material quantities will be proportional to the percentage increase in the bridge deck area.
