GASCOYNE JUNCTION-CARNARVON ROAD
I refer to a notation on page 787 of the 2007-08 budget papers that indicates that by July 2008 only 21 kilometres of the Gascoyne Junction-Carnarvon road will remain unsealed. (1) Will the upgrade of the 26 kilometres planned for the current financial year be completed during this year; and, if not, when will it be completed? (2) Will funding be placed in the 2008-09 budget to ensure that the remaining 21 kilometres of this road is completed in that budget year; and, if not, why not? Hon ADELE FARINA
