The Department of Education monitors student population growth in all of its schools and plans appropriate responses. The Department uses transportable classrooms to accommodate growth. Responses to long term sustained growth are subject to planning and budget processes.
1)         As at Semester 2, 2019, Applecross Senior High School had a total enrolment of   1 602 students.
2)         Applecross Senior High School has a total accommodation capacity of 1 638 students.
3)         Four transportable classrooms are currently installed at Applecross Senior High School.
4)         The capacity of Applecross Senior High School, without transportables, is 1 563 students.
5)         The Department of Education actively monitors student population growth and residential development to determine if schools are coming under accommodation pressure and require a relieving strategy.
