(1) As at 14 August 2012, there were 101 prisoners in custody at Eastern Goldfields Regional Prison (EGRP).
(2) As at 14 August 2012, there were 66 prisoners at EGRP who identified themselves as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent.
(3) The Department of Corrective Services' (the Department's) information system records capture details of the offences (e.g. assault) but not the circumstances (e.g. under the influence of alcohol). As, such the Department is unable to provide figures on alcohol-related offending.
