I refer to the Minister's answers to my questions on notice 1996 and 1997, answered on 15 of May 2024, and tabled paper 3368 which relates to the contract awarded from tender FINW0719022, and I ask: (a) is the cleaning of school solar panels required under the contract; (b) if no to (a), why not; (c) are records required by the Department from the successful tenderer to demonstrate that solar panel cleaning has occurred, such as the schedule 10 service report in the tender document; (d) if no to (c), why not; (e) if yes to (c), please provide copies of the reports or records for 2023 and 2024 to date; (f) what inspection process does the Government have to ensure that solar panels on schools in the South West are clean or have been cleaned; (g) what level of output, as a percentage of their rated capacity, have been recorded for school solar systems in the South West,; (h) please provide copies or evidence for part (g); and (i) are solar panels on schools in the South West being cleaned?

a) Yes – for the assets serviced under FINW0719022.

e) There is a significant number of service reports for the period in question. It would assist if the Member could narrow the request if there is something specific of interest.
f) The Department of Finance relies upon a combination of site representative feedback and contractor reporting to monitor service provision.
g) The attending contractor captures output voltage and current on its service reports, copies of which should be left with the site representative. Monitoring the efficacy of solar panels is the responsibility of the asset owner.
h) Refer to (e).
