I refer to the Minister’s responses to questions on notice 2003
and 2004, and I ask: (a) when did the Minister receive the final version of State
Planning Policy 2.9 (SPP 2.9) from the Western Australian Planning Commission; (b) why has it not been released publicly; (c) is the Minister aware that this important planning
policy is urgently needed to ensure wise planning for the protection of our
water resources, as climate change is already affecting them; (d) does the Government intend to release the final
version of SPP 2.9 during this term of parliament; (e) if no to (d), why not; (f) if yes to (d), when will the Minister release SPP 2.9 and implement it; and (g) when will the Minister release the associated Wetland Buffer Guidelines, which were released for public comment in 2005 and referred to in question on notice 2004?
