I refer to the plans to bring Main Roads maintenance in-house, and I ask:(a) what is the overall progress of the transition;(b) how many new full time equivalents per each Main Roads office (or region) have been created as part of the in-house maintenance transition, as of most recent available date;(c) what percentage of road maintenance works in 2025-26 is expected to be undertaken in-house, in terms of both:(i) kilometres of road fixed, rehabilitated and resealed; and(ii) expected maintenance expenses; and(d) in relation to (c), what were the same figures for the following years:(i) 2024-25; and(ii) 2023-24?

(a)-(d)  Road maintenance and incident response has returned in-house in all Main Roads regions across Western Australia. This has resulted in the creation of 550 secure jobs with improved conditions, including more than 350 in regional WA.
